About Trentham Falls

Victoria, Australia.

Few people visit these very scenic falls near Daylesford in Victoria. As usual, the public viewpoint for these falls, is rather disappointing, when your main aim is to photograph it from a unique angle. It is a steep, densely forested canyon and there are no tracks going to the base of the waterfall. Do I capture a mediocre image, or shall I do what I love most; find my way to a better viewpoint? One way or the another…

This turned out to be a two hour struggle to fight my way to the base of the canyon. By the time I reached my desired spot I was blessed with a massive downpour of rain, which helped increase the color saturation of the rocks and grass.
