Victoria, Australia.

Johanna Beach, along the Great Ocean Road in Victoria. I camped out here last night. By 5am, I am up and running along this lengthy, sandy beach.

Several rocky outlets grab my attention. Most have been reduced to rubble, by the eternal bashing of the ocean’s powerful waves. However, one stands out over the others and so far seems to have survived the eroding power of the ocean. Being half waist into water myself I try a couple of long exposures. While constantly watching my gear on the beach. It wouldn’t be the first time that a wave tries to take off with my camera bag.

When I saw the developed results I was very pleased with this version. It simply looks surreal.
