Fjallsjokull Glacier, Iceland.

Sometimes a dull landscape can transform into a spectacle of colors.  It does not happen often, but it is the ultimate price for a landscape photographer.  For a week in a row weather conditions were horrible with dull light and an excess of rain. 

Nevertheless, every single morning I would attempt again to capture the Fjallsárlón glacier lake in Iceland.  And on this morning, I won the ultimate price.  Skies finally opened up with direct sunlight beaming through.  Clouds took on a pinkish color, and the reflections in the lake where the cherry on the cake.  It must be one of the most beautiful scenes I have seen in a long time.  This shot came together right before my eyes, with all the elements of nature in perfect harmony.
