Fjallsjokull Glacier, Iceland.

I captured this photograph of Fjallsjokull Glacier at around 2.30am.  The sun was gliding across the horizon and lighting up the top of the mountains in the background.  Clouds were reflecting in the lagoon in front of me.  It was a gorgeous site. 

Although it looks peaceful and comfortable; it was extremely cold.  I stood there for several hours photographing, as the sun would light up a different part of the mountain.  Every 30 minutes I would take a break and go for a short run, in order to warm myself up again.  It is one of those nights I won’t easily forget.
