When venturing into nature I move from place to place by four-wheel-drive. However, on this particular wet winter day, I went for a drive in my low-suspension BMW. I had my camera gear in my car. Although I’m a pretty experienced off-road driver, I made the mistake of taking a sidetrack into a nearby forest. I should know better! Not a good idea as it didn’t take me long to get stuck into a muddy puddle. No mobile reception, not a soul to spot. It took me four hours before I was able to halt somebody passing by. Oh well, it was worth it in the end; all for a good image.
