Any camera with manual settings is sufficient. With the exception of camera-phones, nowadays just about any camera has manual settings. A Tripod is a must.
The following items are recommended but not a must : Polarizing Filter / Quick-Release Cable / (Gradual) Neutral Density Filters.
You will need clothes for just about every season of the year. Although usually sunny and warm, you might experience just about any kind of weather. Definitely bring sturdy walking shoes, a warm fleeze, a hat, sunscreen and a rain jacket.
Absolutely no pre-existing photography knowledge is required for this photography tour. You will learn how to get the most out of your camera, and no doubt on your next holiday you will bring back stunning photographs. And for those familiar with the basics of photography; you will significantly increase your skills up to (semi-) professional level.
This tour requires a moderate level of fitness. Prior to every shoot you will receive information about the length and intensity of the hike (if any). But on average we request that participants can easily walk for an hour if needed.
You will receive a detailed itinerary prior to the trip. You will be photographing desert landscapes, isolated beaches, wineries, Australian wildlife. We will visit Perth, Nambung National Park (The Pinnacles), Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park, Sugerloaf Rock, Karri Forests around Pemberton, Valley of the Giants, Busselton Jetty, and much more.
