Coming Soon : Australia's South-West Photography Tour.  This tour is suitable for Beginner and Advanced Photographers.  Under the guidance of Boris Mar you will learn how to capture that special photograph.  You will be visiting South-West Australia's most spectacular landscapes and no doubt you will return with stunning new photographs

Place Info

Australia's South West has it all.  It is a magical spot, which combines it all.  Cozy beachside towns, breathtaking beaches, dramatic coastal sceneries, ancient forests, wineries and desert landscapes.  

Best of all; they are all within easy reach.  Perth is a relaxed city, with excellent eateries, the best sunsets in the world, and gorgeous beaches.  Just north from Perth you will find Nambung National Park (the pinnacles), a surreal landscape with thousands of limestone pillars.  This is a true photographer's dream.

South of Perth is where you will find the countless isolated beaches, dramatic cliffs and coastal views.  And on top of that there are ancient forests with some of the tallest trees in the world.  Margaret River is also south of Perth.  It is Western Australia's wine region, which produces not only excellent wines, but also has beautiful rural landscapes.

A visit to Australia'South-West is an ideal way of seeing a wide variety of landscapes in a reasonably short time span.  It is a true photographer's heaven.

Things To Know

What To Bring

Any camera with manual settings is sufficient. With the exception of camera-phones, nowadays just about any camera has manual settings. A Tripod is a must.
The following items are recommended but not a must : Polarizing Filter / Quick-Release Cable / (Gradual) Neutral Density Filters.

What To Wear

You will need clothes for just about every season of the year.  Although usually sunny and warm, you might experience just about any kind of weather.  Definitely bring sturdy walking shoes, a warm fleeze, a hat, sunscreen and a rain jacket.

Level

Absolutely no pre-existing photography knowledge is required for this photography tour. You will learn how to get the most out of your camera, and no doubt on your next holiday you will bring back stunning photographs. And for those familiar with the basics of photography; you will significantly increase your skills up to (semi-) professional level.

Fitness Level

This tour requires a moderate level of fitness.  Prior to every shoot you will receive information about the length and intensity of the hike (if any).  But on average we request that participants can easily walk for an hour if needed.

What will you be photographing?

You will receive a detailed itinerary prior to the trip. You will be photographing desert landscapes, isolated beaches, wineries, Australian wildlife.  We will visit Perth, Nambung National Park (The Pinnacles), Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park, Sugerloaf Rock, Karri Forests around Pemberton, Valley of the Giants, Busselton Jetty, and much more.
