About Skogafoss

Skogafoss, Iceland.

Skogafoss is an impressive waterfall with a width of 25 meters (82ft) and a drop of 60 meters (200ft).  When I took this photograph it was a dark, overcast day.  This is something quite common in Iceland.

I tried to capture the mood of that day, while displaying the beauty of this waterfall.  Capturing this shot in black & white accentuates the contrast between the darkish landscape and white waterfall.
