Stokksnes, Iceland.

I spent an entire afternoon exploring Stokksnes, a headland on the south-eastern Icelandic Coast.  The views of Vestarahorn mountain are simply impressive.  Stokksnes is a large area with many possibilities for a strong composition.  The expansive volcanic beach was covered in countless colourful pebbles.  It was a beautiful sight.  I used a wide-angle lens to capture the vastness of this place, and a small aperture to create a narrow depth-of-field, giving Vestarahorn mountain in the background an almost mystical look & feel.
